Forestry

An integral part of Tulalip life has always been a close relationship with the forest and all that it provides. The Tulalip Forestry Program oversees the successful perpetuation of long-term sustainable forestry practices for the benefit of current and future generations to enjoy. The forestry related needs of the Tulalip Tribal community are met using the adopted Tulalip Forest Management Plan, which is designed to provide and sustain timber, water resources, fisheries and wildlife habitat, hunting and gathering, spiritual refuge, recreation and open space, as well as many other traditional uses.
