What is Climate Change?

Climate change is the long-term change of global or regional weather patterns, like temperature and rain, and its impacts on environments, like the ocean and forests.

What is global warming?

Global warming is the long-term rise in temperature of Earth’s climate system monitored since the pre-industrial period (between 1850-1900) due to human activities, largely fossil fuel burning, which increases heat-trapping greenhouse gas levels in Earth’s atmosphere.
